Papua- The Papuan youth group in the Grime Nawa Valley, Jayapura Regency invites all elements of society to support the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous elections safely and peacefully.
This was conveyed by Yohanis Yanuaring as Chairman of the Garuda Merah Putih DPD, Jayapura Regency regarding responding to the phasing process of implementing the election which has been running since last October.
“As youth and Chairman of the DPD Garuda Merah Putih Jayapura Regency and representing fellow youth in Dapil IV Grime Nawa, we invite the entire young generation to support the presidential, legislative and regional head elections so that they run successfully,” he said.
He also admitted that he was ready to synergize with the organizers, both Bawaslu and the KPU, especially the TNI and Polri in maintaining comfort, security and public order.
“We are also ready to support the TNI and Polri in ensuring this simultaneous election with the hope that the democratic party can run well so that it can produce trustworthy national leaders, people’s representatives and regional heads,” concluded Anis.
