“The patient has pain in the neck due to an arrow wound. The arrows are about 130-150 cm long and made of iron. The medical team responsible for treating the victim is dr. Alistan Sp.B as the doctor in charge and Ipda dr. Yemima from the ER,” he said.

He explained that it was suspected that the incident occurred when the victim was about 100 meters from the perpetrators of the riot. After the incident, Bripka Laode Imran was taken to the Nabire General Hospital Regional Public Service Center and then referred to Bhayangkara Hospital in a state of unconsciousness.

“The patient is currently undergoing therapy in the form of administering oxygen as much as 3 liters per minute, installing monitors, placing catheters, and administering 0.9% NACL infusion fluids as much as 1000 cc per 24 hours,” explained Kombes Pol. Nariyana.

In addition, they were also given Ceftriaxone injection antibiotics 2 times a day at a dose of 1 gram, Metronidazole antibiotics 3 times a day at a dose of 500 mg, gastric medicine Omeprazole 2 times a day at a dose of 1 intravenous ampoule, Ketorolac pain medication 3 times a day with dose of 1 intravenous ampoule, and 1 intramuscular vial of Tetagam anti-tetanus vaccine.

The patient is currently still being treated in the observation ICU room, but plans will be referred to the Sukanto Kramat Jati Police Hospital in Jakarta to receive further treatment from a surgeon u Papua. He hopes that the victim will recover soon and get the best treatment for a speedy recovery.
