Jayapura – The Puncak Resort Police is currently conducting a shootout crime scene (TKP) involving members of the Raider 303 Task Force and the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Agenggen Village, Puncak District, Meagabume District, Puncak District, Central Papua Province, Friday (2 /3).
Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police Kombes Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, SH, SIK, M.Kom., when confirmed, confirmed the shooting incident that occurred.
The Head of Public Relations said that at around 6:45 WIT, gunfire was heard from the Meagabume District. As a result of this incident, there were victims who died. Terina Murib (25) and Praka Jumardi (31).
Known, Alm. Praka Jumardi has now been evacuated to Mimika Regency by using a Smart Aviation Air aircraft.
“For the injured victims, including Lerice Telenggen, Rasna Kogoya, Desina Along, Etera Kulua, Anison Tabuni and Iwan Murib are currently receiving medical treatment at the Sinak District Health Center, and a post mortem will be carried out,” said the Head of Public Relations.
In a separate place, Puncak Police Chief Kompol I Nyoman Punia, S. Sos said that currently his party had conducted TKP investigations at the scene and asked for a post-mortem from the victims.
“Personnel in the field have also approached figures in Abumega Village, Sinak District, Puncak Regency. Apart from that, the joint TNI-Polri apparatus is still pursuing the KKB group,” said the police chief
