The event was attended by the Deputy Chief of Public Relations for the Cartenz Peace Operation-2026 Task Force, AKBP Andria, S.I.K.; Tembagapura Police Chief, IPTU Firman, S.E.; Tembagapura District Head, Dev Richart Tatiratu, S.E.; religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, and hundreds of residents from Banti, Opitawak, Utikini, Kimbeli, and surrounding villages.
The series of activities began with a prayer, the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya,” and remarks from officials and community leaders. The event continued with the distribution of school supplies to children under the Honai Belajar program (learning group) of the Tembagapura Police, a symbolic distribution of basic food aid to village representatives, and various competitions and quizzes, which were enthusiastically participated in by the community.
Teribupura Police Chief, Inspector Firman, stated that these activities demonstrated the National Police’s concern for the community and an effort to strengthen harmonious relations between security forces and residents.
“We are using the 80th Bhayangkara Day as a means to strengthen ties with the community. This basic food aid program demonstrates the National Police’s concern for the community, while the Honai Belajar program demonstrates our commitment to supporting the education of the younger generation in Tembagapura. We hope the community will continue to work together to maintain public order and security, ensuring a safe, peaceful, and conducive environment,” said Inspector Firman.
He also encouraged the community to maintain good communication with security forces if any issues arise in their respective neighborhoods so that they can be resolved through deliberation for the sake of shared security.
The Head of Tembagapura District, Dev Richart Tatiratu, S.E., stated that synergy between all elements of society is essential to support development in the Tembagapura region, particularly in the field of education.
“We invite the entire community to jointly support every development program aimed at improving community welfare, including the planned school construction in Tembagapura District. Education is an investment in the future of our children and therefore requires support from all parties,” said Dev Richart Tatiratu.
Meanwhile, a community leader in Tembagapura District, Derek Alom, expressed his appreciation for the National Police’s continued presence in the community through various social activities.
“We express our gratitude to the Tembagapura Police, especially President Prabowo, for their attention to the community through the distribution of basic food supplies and educational development for children. We hope that activities like this can continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis, as they are very beneficial in strengthening the relationship between the community and security forces,” said Derek Alom.
In addition to commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the activity also served as a momentum to strengthen the recovery of public order and security following the recent security disturbances in the Tembagapura mining area. Through a humanistic approach, community service, social assistance, and educational development through Honai Belajar (Learning Honai), the Tembagapura Police hope to continue to build public trust so that security and stability in the Tembagapura area can be maintained sustainably.
The entire series of activities proceeded safely and orderly and received a positive response from the community in attendance.
