Mimika – A Hindu religious leader in Mimika Regency, Pinandita I Made Kembardana, expressed his appreciation for the performance of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, which he believes has prioritized a humanistic approach in maintaining security and public order in Papua. The statement was delivered during an occasion held at Pura SP 4, Mimika Regency, on Sunday (June 21, 2026).
In his remarks, Pinandita I Made Kembardana conveyed his appreciation to the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 for the efforts that he has observed directly and through various media reports.
“We, the Hindu religious leaders and community figures in Mimika Regency, would like to express our appreciation to the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 for the work they have carried out, which we have observed both directly and through various media reports,” he said.
According to him, the approach implemented by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 has been effective because it prioritizes dialogue, persuasion, and humanitarian values in building public trust.
“In our view, the approach carried out by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 has been appropriate and effective. Prioritizing dialogue, persuasive engagement, and humanitarian values is the right way to build trust and foster positive relationships with the people of Papua,” said Pinandita I Made Kembardana.
He also expressed his support for the various efforts undertaken by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 to maintain public security and order through professional, measured actions carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
“We also support the efforts of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 in maintaining public security and order. Actions that are professional, measured, and in accordance with legal provisions are what the community expects in order to preserve a safe and conducive environment,” he continued.
As a religious leader, Pinandita I Made Kembardana hopes that every issue arising in Papua can be resolved by prioritizing dialogue and peaceful approaches as sustainable solutions.
“As a religious leader, we hope that every issue can be resolved through dialogue and peaceful approaches. We believe that resolving problems through violence will not provide sustainable solutions, as it only creates new problems,” he stated.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of continuing to prioritize humanitarian approaches, persuasive engagement, and preventive measures to achieve a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Papua.
“Therefore, we hope that humanitarian approaches, persuasive engagement, and preventive measures will continue to be prioritized. Through these efforts, we can work together to realize a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Papua,” he said.
During the occasion, Pinandita I Made Kembardana also called on the public to maintain unity and avoid being influenced by unverified information.
“We also urge all members of the community not to be easily influenced by information whose accuracy has not been verified or by information that may create tension. Let us work together to maintain unity, harmony, and peace within society,” he said.
He emphasized that despite differences in backgrounds and perspectives, all Indonesians are brothers and sisters who must continue to uphold togetherness.
“Regardless of our backgrounds and differences, we are all brothers and sisters of the same nation and homeland. Therefore, let us respect one another, preserve our unity, and support efforts to create lasting peace in Papua,” he added.
Concluding his statement, Pinandita I Made Kembardana offered prayers that all existing issues could be resolved properly so that the people of Papua can live safely and focus on building a better future.
“We pray that all existing issues can be resolved properly so that people can live in safety and peace, and focus on building a better future for Papua and Indonesia,” he concluded.
