Dogiyai – Efforts to maintain public security and order in Dogiyai Regency continue to draw attention from various stakeholders. Former Dogiyai Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) member, Agus Tebai, ST, expressed his support for stricter enforcement against the circulation of alcoholic beverages as part of broader measures to create a safe and conducive environment, March 21, 2026.
According to Agus Tebai, the widespread circulation of alcohol has the potential to trigger security disturbances within the community, making firm and well-measured action from the local government necessary to control it.
“The regulation and crackdown on alcoholic beverages must be carried out consistently as part of efforts to maintain security stability. This is important so that people can carry out their daily activities safely and comfortably,” he said.
He emphasized that the responsibility for maintaining public security and order does not rest solely on law enforcement agencies, but also requires active participation from all elements of society.
In addition, Agus Tebai proposed the formation of a joint task force involving the National Police (Polri), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), local government officials, and community leaders to ensure that enforcement efforts are carried out effectively and sustainably.
“Cross-sector collaboration is essential so that security measures are not temporary, but become a continuous collective movement,” he added.
Through these integrated efforts, it is hoped that the security and public order situation in Dogiyai Regency will remain stable and that the community will feel safer in carrying out their daily activities.
