INTAN JAYA – Efforts to maintain security stability in the remote areas of Papua continue to be carried out through persuasive and human-centered approaches.
Personnel of Damai Cartenz Operation 2026 conducted a dialogic patrol in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, on Sunday (March 1, 2026), to ensure that the security and public order situation remains safe and conducive.
The activity began with a readiness roll call as a form of internal consolidation before personnel moved to several public service locations.
During the patrol, the team visited Sugapa Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and engaged directly with medical staff as well as residents who were carrying out their daily activities. The communication took place in a warm and open atmosphere. Officers not only delivered public security messages but also listened to community aspirations regarding the security conditions in their surroundings.
The patrol was then extended to a banking vital object in Sugapa to ensure that public services were running safely and smoothly. The presence of security personnel among the community is expected to provide a sense of safety while strengthening public trust in security institutions.
Head of Damai Cartenz Operation 2026, Brig. Gen. Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that dialogic patrols are part of a preventive strategy that prioritizes partnership-based approaches.
“We want to ensure that every presence of our personnel in the field brings a sense of security and reassurance to the community. A human-centered approach is the key to building trust and strengthening synergy in maintaining public order,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Operation 2026, Sr. Comr. Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that active communication between officers and the community will continue to be reinforced across all operational areas.
“Security is not solely the responsibility of the authorities, but the result of collective collaboration. Therefore, we encourage our personnel to always be present with professionalism, courtesy, and a solution-oriented attitude in every interaction with the community,” he affirmed.
Through these dialogic patrols, Damai Cartenz Operation 2026 reaffirms its commitment to maintaining security stability in Intan Jaya Regency by prioritizing protection, service, and partnership with the community.
