Puncak, Central Papua — As part of its humanistic approach and efforts to strengthen ties with local communities, personnel of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force held a friendly gathering at the Cartenz Tactical Sector Post in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, on Sunday (November 2, 2025).
The event was filled with warmth and togetherness as officers shared snacks and engaged in light conversations with residents and children. This simple yet meaningful moment served as an opportunity to enhance emotional connections and mutual trust between the security forces and the local community.
Among the participating personnel were Police Inspector Second Class (Ipda) Dr. Shintia Novotna Katoda, M.Kes., Police Brigadier (Briptu) Dedi Arianto, A.Md.Kep., and Police Brigadier (Bripda) Annisa Mahardika. Their presence brought a sense of closeness and empathy, fostering stronger community relations around the post.
Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humanistic approach remains a key priority in maintaining long-term peace and stability in Papua.
“We are not only here to conduct law enforcement operations but also to strengthen humanitarian ties. Activities like this help build emotional bonds between officers and the community, laying the foundation for a peaceful and harmonious Papua,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner (Kombes Pol) Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the initiative shown by field personnel in maintaining active and empathetic communication with residents.
“We encourage all officers across operational sectors to continue fostering close relationships with the community. A humanistic approach is an essential part of sustainable security strategy. When good relations are established, mutual trust and a sense of safety will grow naturally,” he stated.
This activity in Sinak serves as tangible proof that the Cartenz Peace Operation is not only focused on security measures but also on nurturing social and humanitarian connections within the Papuan community.
