Tabi Customary Leader Urges Students and Community to Maintain Public Order in Jayapura City

Jayapura – In response to information regarding a planned public demonstration by a student alliance at two locations — Abepura and Jayapura City — Tabi customary leader, Soleman Demiko, has called on all residents to work together in maintaining security and public order across Jayapura City.

In his statement, Soleman Demiko emphasized the importance of preserving a peaceful and stable environment amid ongoing daily activities.

“I urge everyone to maintain public security and order while expressing their opinions in Jayapura City. Today, government offices, schools, farmers, fishermen, laborers, and students are all carrying out their daily routines. Therefore, it is our shared duty to keep our city safe and orderly,” he said.

He also encouraged all elements of society, especially the younger generation and students, to support government programs aimed at improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and the overall welfare of the Papuan people.

“Let us collectively support government initiatives in all sectors for the progress and prosperity of the people of Papua. Avoid actions that could disrupt development or regional stability,” he added.

Concluding his remarks, Soleman Demiko conveyed a message of optimism, encouraging the community to continue fostering peace and harmony in Papua.

“That is my brief message, and I hope we can all take it to heart. Wishing everyone success!” he concluded.
