Tolikara – In order to maintain public security and order, Resort Police Tolikara together with Kodim 1716/Tolikara and Brimob Gegana BKO Tolikara personnel carried out a joint patrol in the jurisdiction of Polres Tolikara, on Wednesday (9/3/2025).
This joint patrol was led directly by the Head of Criminal Investigation of the Tolikara Police, Iptu Marcelino Rumambi, S.H., M.H., and followed by KBO Binmas of the Tolikara Police Ipda Renardus Sekenyap, Head of the Tolikara Police Ipda Charles M. Source, Pasi Intel Kodim 1716/Tolikara Letda Inf. Imam Eko Santoso, along with one squad of Tolikara Police personnel, one squad of Brimob Gegana BKO, and one squad of Kodim 1716/Tolikara personnel.
Tolikara Police Chief, Police Commissioner Robert Hitipieuw, S.H., M.H., through the Head of Criminal Investigation emphasized that this joint patrol activity is a real step of TNI-Polri synergy in providing a sense of security to the community.
“This joint patrol is not only a form of preparedness to face the potential disturbance of kamtibmas, but also to show that TNI-Polri are always present together to maintain security stability in Tolikara Regency,” he said.
In addition to maintaining the situation to remain conducive, this joint patrol is also a means of building communication with the community, so that a harmonious relationship is created between security forces and residents. The presence of officers in the field is expected to be able to prevent potential security disturbances and provide a sense of security and comfort for the community in carrying out daily activities.
During the activity, the situation in the jurisdiction of the Tolikara Police was reported to be safe, orderly, and conducive. TNI-Polri together with local governments are committed to continue strengthening collaboration in order to maintain the stability of security and order in the Papua Mountains, especially Tolikara Regency.
