Puncak Jaya, Central Papua – Personnel from the Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz carried out a community visit by greeting and interacting with local women vendors at Mulia Market, Kulirik District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).
The officers involved in this activity were Briptu Eroza Feryan Perdana, S.H., and Bripda Rafli Abdullah, S.H. Warm smiles and friendly greetings set the tone for a cordial atmosphere during their interaction with the women.
Through this humanitarian effort, the Task Force aims not only to serve as protectors but also as friends and family to the Papua community. This simple interaction is expected to foster mutual trust and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that embody the true spirit of peace and harmony in Papua.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Brigadier General Pol Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the humane initiative shown by the personnel in the field.
“Humanitarian activities like this are an important effort in maintaining the trust of the community. The presence of the officers is not only to maintain security but also to build emotional closeness that nurtures a sense of brotherhood among the people of Papua,” Brigadier General Faizal emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that such humanitarian activities are part of the strategy to create a conducive environment.
“We want to show that Operation Damai Cartenz operates with heart. This simple interaction at the market is very meaningful because it serves as a bridge to strengthen the sense of safety and peace in Papua,” Commissioner Adarma said.
The Peace Operation Task Force Cartenz reaffirmed its commitment to continue implementing humanitarian programs to deepen the relationship between the security forces and the community, as well as to maintain security stability in Papua.
