Jayawijaya — In celebration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the Jayawijaya Police Resort held a meaningful thanksgiving ceremony on Tuesday morning (July 1, 2025) at the Jayawijaya Police Headquarters. This moment served as a space for reflection and strengthened ties among the police force, local government officials, and key community figures in the Papua Highlands region.

The thanksgiving event took place in a warm, familial atmosphere and was attended by the Deputy Chief of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., along with the Principal Officials of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz Wamena Post. The presence of regional leadership (Forkopimda), religious leaders, traditional figures, and the local community further emphasized that synergy in Jayawijaya is not just a concept, but a living reality.

In his remarks, Chief Commissioner Adarma Sinaga expressed his deep appreciation for the spirit of unity that has been continuously fostered. He underlined that the cooperation between security forces and the public is the cornerstone for maintaining regional security and stability.

“The collaboration between the TNI-Polri, Forkopimda, and all elements of society is our greatest strength. This spirit of mutual cooperation is what keeps peace in Papua alive and growing,” he stated.

This thanksgiving was more than a ceremonial event—it stood as a strong symbol that true security is built upon trust and togetherness. The spirit of this year’s Bhayangkara Day reaffirms the vital role of the police not only as law enforcers, but also as friends of the people, continuously fostering partnerships for a peaceful, harmonious, and prosperous Papua.
