Personnel from the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2025 Bring Joy to Children in Mulia District, Puncak Jaya

Puncak Jaya, May 1, 2025 — Two members of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2025, Briptu Eroza Feryan Perdana and Bripda Rafly Abdullah, engaged in a humanitarian activity with children in Mulia District, Puncak Jaya, Papua, on Thursday (May 1).
This initiative aimed to strengthen bonds between security forces and the community, especially children, through a warm and persuasive approach. During the event, personnel distributed snacks, stationery, and simple toys to excited children. They also played and learned together, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz-2025, Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that humanitarian activities like this are crucial for maintaining stability in Papua.
“Through efforts like this, we want to show that security forces are present not only to maintain order but also to bring messages of peace and care to the community,” he stated.
Deputy Head Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that human-centered approaches will continue in various operational regions.
“We aim to build trust within the community, particularly among children—the next generation—so they feel safe and valued,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations for Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that such activities are also part of a strategic communication approach to foster harmony between security personnel and residents.
“Humanitarian initiatives like this are a concrete demonstration of our commitment to being closer to the community, emphasizing persuasive engagement, and nurturing mutual trust,” he said.
Local residents welcomed the event warmly. Children were delighted to receive gifts and interact with personnel, while parents appreciated the attention given by the Damai Cartenz-2025 Task Force. The event concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing togetherness and the hope for lasting peace in Papua.
