Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force Public Relations Spreads Joy with Children in Puncak Jaya

Puncak Jaya, Papua – Two personnel from the Public Relations Unit of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Operation Task Force, Briptu Eroza Feryan Perdana and Bripda Rafly Abdullah, carried out a humanitarian outreach activity for children in Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua, on Thursday (May 1).
The warm and heartfelt activity was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen emotional ties between security forces and the local community, particularly the younger generation. During the event, the officers distributed snacks, school supplies, and simple toys. The children were visibly enthusiastic, joining in the cheerful atmosphere of play and learning alongside the task force members.
The Head of Cartenz-2025 Peace Operation, Brig. Gen. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that such humanitarian efforts are an integral part of maintaining security stability in Papua.
“Security forces are present not only to safeguard the area but also to deliver messages of peace and compassion to the community,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Echoing this sentiment, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that humanitarian approaches would continue to be promoted throughout the operational areas.
“We aim to foster a sense of safety and trust within the community, especially among children as the future generation,” he remarked.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that the activity also forms part of their communication strategy to build harmonious relationships with the local population.
“This humanitarian initiative is a tangible manifestation of our commitment to getting closer to the people through persuasive approaches and by fostering mutual trust,” he stated.
The event was well received by the local community. Parents expressed their appreciation for the attention shown by the task force, while children were visibly delighted to receive gifts and interact with the officers. The event concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of togetherness and hope for lasting peace in Papua.
