Bandung – In an effort to uphold the law and maintain national security, the Indonesian National Police (Polri), through a joint task force consisting of the Law Enforcement Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, the Regional Police Criminal Investigation Units (Ditreskrimum) of West Papua, Papua, and East Java, conducted an investigation into an alleged illegal firearms trafficking network. On Friday (March 21), investigators examined three Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel with the initials RBS, YR, and SS at the Military Police Command of Kodam III/Siliwangi in Bandung.
This investigation is part of the case development, which has already named seven civilians as suspects, including Yuni Enumbi and Teguh Wiyono. Polri ensures a transparent investigation process by gathering statements from all relevant parties.
Chronology of Case Unveiling by Polri
Mid-2024
Polri detected communication between RBS and Teguh Wiyono, introduced by a member of the Perbakin Purwakarta shooting club.
Late November 2024
Investigators identified the first transaction at Hotel Patradissa, Bandung, where RBS sold one M16 firearm to Teguh Wiyono for IDR 30 million.
December 2024
The second transaction was uncovered at Hotel Griya Indah, Bandung, where RBS sold two SS1 firearms for IDR 60 million, allegedly supplied by YR.
Early January 2025
The third transaction occurred again at Hotel Griya Indah. RBS sold two SS1 firearms, five SS1 barrels, and 280 rounds of ammunition to Teguh Wiyono for IDR 62 million, allegedly supplied by YR and SS.
February 2025
Further investigation revealed a fourth transaction in which RBS sold one FN pistol for IDR 22 million, allegedly from SS.
March 14, 2025
Based on investigation developments, three Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel were secured by Kodam III/Siliwangi in Bandung for further examination.

Polri Reaffirms Commitment to Law Enforcement
Chief of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that Polri’s role is to uncover this network by questioning witnesses and developing the case further. The legal process for the three Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel is entirely under the authority of Kodam III/Siliwangi.
“We at Polri only conducted their examination in their capacity as witnesses to strengthen the allegations against the seven civilians who have been named as suspects. The further legal process for the three Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel is under the jurisdiction of Kodam III/Siliwangi,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.
Deputy Chief of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the collaboration between Polri and Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in uncovering this case.
“The excellent cooperation between four Regional Police units, the Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Task Force, and the Military Police Command of Kodam III/Siliwangi ensures that the investigation runs smoothly. We hope this legal process will be conducted transparently and in accordance with applicable laws,” said Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma.
As of March 20, 2025, a total of ten individuals have been arrested, including three active Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel. Investigators from the East Java Regional Police have scheduled a follow-up confrontation examination between Teguh Wiyono and YR to uncover a wider network in this case.
Polri reaffirms its commitment to maintaining security and public order by continuing its investigation to expose illegal firearms trafficking networks and taking firm action against all perpetrators in accordance with the law.
