Support for Free Nutritious Food Program, Community Leaders Urge Parents to Be Actively Involved

Mimika, Papua – Jhon Murib, a community leader from the Dani tribe in Mimika Regency, expressed his support for the government’s Free Nutritious Food Program (MBG). He emphasized the importance of this initiative for children in Papua to receive healthy and nutritious food.

“This program is incredibly beneficial for the growth of Papua’s children. With access to nutritious food, they can study better and develop optimally,” said Jhon Murib on Tuesday (March 18).

He also urged parents to take a more active role in guiding their children, ensuring they are not easily influenced by groups with personal agendas. “Parental guidance is crucial to help children stay focused on their education and future,” he added.

The support for this government program is expected to improve the welfare of Papua’s communities in a sustainable manner.
