Strengthen Friendship With Timika Community Figures As A Form Of Commitment To Maintain Joint Security

In an effort to strengthen communication and cooperation with the community, Deputy Head of Public Relation Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Commissioner Police Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K, held a friendly meeting with community leaders of Mimika Regency, Dr. Jeffrey C. Hutagalung, MPhil. The meeting took place at the residence of Dr. Jeffrey and walked with full familiarity and constructive discussion.

This friendship aims to strengthen the synergy between security forces and public figures in maintaining regional stability. On that occasion, Commissioner Police Yusuf Tauziri emphasized the importance of the active role of community figures in supporting efforts to create a safe and conducive situation in Mimika Regency.

“We realize that security is not only the responsibility of the apparatus, but also requires support from all elements of society, including figures who have a great influence in their communities,” said Commissioner Police Yusuf Tauziri.

Furthermore, he explained that Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 not only focuses on law enforcement, but also puts forward a humanist approach through activities that build closeness with the community.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Cheif Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T, also gave his response regarding this activity. He emphasized that the humanist approach strategy is one of the main keys in maintaining security stability in Papua, especially in Mimika Regency.

“Community with public figures like this is very important because it can build trust and good communication between officials and residents. We want the public to feel safe and comfortable, and have confidence that the police are present to protect them,” said Cheif Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo.

He also added that similar activities will continue to be carried out with various elements of the community to create a more harmonious and peaceful environment.

Through this meeting, it is hoped that the cooperation between the police and the community can be closer, so that a conducive atmosphere is created and supports the development in Mimika Regency.
