Intan Jaya, Papua – In an effort to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas), police officers carry out routine patrols in the Intan Jaya area. This activity is led directly by Ipda Simanjuntak with an approach that is not only preventive but also humanistic.
This patrol targets a number of strategic points that are considered prone to security disturbances. In addition to ensuring that the situation remains conducive, police personnel also interact with the community, listen to their complaints, and provide education about the importance of maintaining order together.
“We are not only here to maintain security, but also want to build a better relationship with the community. This humanist approach is important so that people feel safe and comfortable in their daily lives,” said Ipda Simanjuntak.
Head of Public Relations, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, added that this patrol activity is part of the police strategy in creating security stability in Papua. According to him, the presence of officers in the community is not only for law enforcement, but also to build trust and a sense of security.
“We are committed to continue to put forward a persuasive and humanistic approach in every task in the field. With good communication, it is hoped that the public will trust and synergize with the security forces to create a conducive environment,” explained Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
In this activity, the police also distributed food aid to residents in need as a form of social concern. The public also appreciates the presence of officers who are not only in charge of maintaining security, but also show concern for their welfare.
