Fostering Synergy, Head of Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz-2024 Visits Yonif 512 Border Security Post in Oksibil

Oksibil – In an effort to strengthen inter-agency security synergy, the Head of Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz-2024, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., accompanied by the Chief of Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Anto Seven, S.I.K., M.H., visited the Yonif 512 Border Security Post in Oksibil on Tuesday (11/02) afternoon. This visit was part of a series of activities for Operation Peace Cartenz-2024 aimed at enhancing coordination and cooperation in maintaining security in the border area.
The Yonif 512 Border Security Post is managed by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and plays a strategic role in securing the Bintang Mountains border area. The presence of the Head of Public Relations Task Force and the Chief of Bintang Mountains Police marked an important moment to directly inspect the field conditions and discuss collaborative steps in facing security challenges in the area.
During his visit, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo expressed his appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the Yonif 512 personnel. “We greatly appreciate the active role of the TNI in maintaining security in the border area. Synergy between the Police and the TNI is the key to creating sustainable security,” he said.
The Head of Public Relations Task Force also emphasized the importance of closer collaboration between the Police, TNI, and the local community. “Security is not just the responsibility of one party, but our collective responsibility. Let us continue to enhance coordination and communication to face all forms of threats,” added Yusuf Sutejo.
This visit also provided an opportunity for direct dialogue with the Yonif 512 personnel.
At the end of the visit, the Head of Public Relations Task Force urged that the synergy between the Police and the TNI be continually strengthened. “We must always unite and support each other. Security and stability in the border area are our shared responsibility. Let us continue to work together to create a safe and conducive environment for the community,” concluded Yusuf Sutejo.
