Jayapura- The Health Sub-Task Force of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operations Assistance Task Force carried out health service activities for the community in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
This activity aims to provide health assistance to local people in need, especially in areas with limited access.
Head of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operations, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., in his confirmation stated that this health service is an effort to help people who have limited access to health facilities.
“The health service from the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operations Task Force Health Team aims to help people in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, who need medical assistance,” said Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
In addition, Head of Public Relations Task Force for Peaceful Operations Cartenz 2024, Senior Commissioner of Police Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., added that this health service is very much needed by the community in Kiwirok District. The presence of the health team is part of the government’s commitment to provide access to medical services for people in remote areas.
“The community in Kiwirok District really needs health services from the government, and our presence here is to provide these services to help the local community,” said Senior Commissioner of Police Dr. Bayu Suseno.
This health service activity includes general health checks, such as measuring blood pressure, body temperature, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation. In addition, the medical team also provided vitamin injections and oral vitamin supplements to support the community’s immune system.
The activity, which started at 09.00 local time, took place safely and smoothly until it finished. The community who attended felt very helped by the services provided.
The Health Team of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Operation Assistance Task Force on duty at the location consists of IPTU dr. Gaza Muhammad Anjartama, BRIPKA Heribertus A.B. Tena, S.Tr.AK., M.Si, and BRIPDA Chaerul Fahmi (Medical Task Force for Kiwirok Sector Action).
This service is expected to have a positive impact on public health in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, which often faces difficulties in accessing health services.
