Timika – In order to maintain a conducive public order and security situation during the 79th Indonesian Independence Day commemoration, the Joint Public Order and Security Task Force of Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops and the Mimika Police Sat Samapta Pioneer Team conducted a dialogic patrol in the jurisdiction of the Mimika Police. This activity is part of a preventive effort to ensure that the celebration of the holiday can take place safely and orderly.
The dialogic patrol was carried out with a humanistic approach, where the Personnel carrying out the Patrol interacted directly with the local community. During the activity, they not only carried out security checks, but also listened to complaints and needs of residents. Through this dialogue, the team provided information related to preventive measures and appeals to maintain security and peace.
This activity also aims to increase public awareness of the importance of their role in creating a safe environment, especially during the implementation of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day commemoration. By actively involving the community, it is hoped that a strong synergy will be created between security forces and residents, so that the celebration atmosphere can take place safely and conducively.
