Oksibil- In commemoration of the 78th Bhayangkara Day, the 2024 ODC Task Force succeeded in winning 1st place in the volleyball tournament held from 20 – 24 June 2024 by the Bintang Mountains Police. This lively tournament was attended by various teams from the TNI and the Bintang Mountains Police Unit who showed a high spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
The final match, which was held on the Bintang Mountains Police Headquarters field, was fierce and witnessed directly by the Bintang Mountains Police Chief, AKBP Moh. Dafi Bastomi, SH., SIK., M.I.K., Dansatgas Pamtas RI – PNG Lt. Col. Inf. Andrik Facrizal, and PJU Bintang Mountains Police. The ODC 2024 Task Force showed a brilliant game with solid strategy and teamwork so that they managed to beat the Pamtas 310 team with a final score of 3 (three) winning sets.
IPTU Star Mountains Sector Dansector M. Kasim Lating S.Tr.K expressed his high appreciation to all tournament participants, especially to the 2024 ODC Task Force who have shown extraordinary dedication and enthusiasm.
“This victory is not only about achievement, but also shows the spirit of unity and solidarity between us all,” he said.
Apart from the volleyball tournament, the 78th Bhayangkara Day event series was also enlivened with various social activities and other competitions. This activity is expected to further strengthen relations between the TNI – Polri and the community, as well as increase awareness of the importance of security and order in the Bintang Mountains Regency.
“The achievements of the 2024 ODC Task Force are clear proof that the Bhayangkara spirit is not only reflected in daily duties and responsibilities, but also in the field of sports and community activities,” he concluded.
