Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace OPS Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, in his statement said that, indeed, on Tuesday 4 June 2024, at around 12.00.wit, the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force, had succeeded in arresting another suspect who was a supplier of firearms to the suspect “M.O” who had been arrested previously. .
“The identity of the suspect we arrested on Tuesday 4 June 2024 is 74 year old Petrus Oyaitouw (farmer) with an address at Hedam Village, Heram District, Jayapura City.” Concluded AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
He continued, Based on information from the previous suspect, “M.O”, that Petrus Oyaitouw, had sold him two short-barreled firearms, where one firearm had been successfully sold and the other was successfully secured when the Cartenz Peace Ops task force was following the movement of “M.O”, in Depapre before the transaction is carried out.
“It should be noted that they are a network of suppliers of firearms and ammunition to KKB Sepi Klembiab (‘S.K”) who is the Chief of Staff of Kodap I in the Tabi region.” Said the Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace OPS Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
