Polda Papua Recruit 2,000 National Police, Secretary General of BMP-RI Gives Appreciation and Pays Attention to Quality

Jayapura- Secretary General of BMP-RI Ali Kabiay expressed his appreciation to the Papua Regional Police for the opportunity given to young Papuans or native Papuan children to become members of the Indonesian National Police in the Land of Papua.
This was stated by Ali Kabiay on Thursday (18/4) in Jayapura. Recruiting 2,000 National Police Candidates, he expressed his gratitude to the Papua Police, especially the Papua Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Mathius D. Fakhiri for his efforts in providing this great opportunity.
He gave a message to young people in Papua that those who want to register as members of the National Police must pay good attention to their health, get enough rest, exercise diligently, avoid negative things and always follow applicable procedures or rules.
“Let’s follow the path determined by the selection committee, and show our qualities as a native Papuan child who has abilities. “Because we are members of the National Police, we don’t turn our backs,” he said.
Furthermore, he said, you will have the task of protecting the community and also maintaining public peace. So we need truly qualified Papuan children.
“For this reason, the recruitment of 2,000 Papuan children from the Indonesian National Police needs to pay attention to affirmation standards and also pay attention to quality,” he explained.
The Secretary General of BMP-RI also hopes that these 2,000 people will be able to become quality State Servants by paying attention to several aspects such as the ability to think well, Pancasila ideology, good psychology and strong physical endurance.
“Several of these aspects are key or core to being able to create human resources for native Papuan children well for the future progress of Papua,” he concluded.
In a different place, Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno said that the acceptance of the National Police by the Papua Regional Police would have a positive impact on Papua’s future progress.
“This is a step that needs to be taken by the Police in Papua so that the presence of the National Police in Papua will be felt, so that the security and comfort of the people in the Land of Papua will be felt by the people,” concluded Bayu.
