Gorontalo Regional Police, Head of Public Relations Division, National Police Public Relations Division, Commissioner Pol. Erdi A. Chaniago said that the National Police had once again extended the operations of the Cartenz Peace Task Force as an effort to maintain the stability of security and social order and public order security (Kamtibmas) in Papua.
“Operation Peace Cartenz will be extended from January 1 to December 31 2024,” he said at National Police Headquarters, Tuesday (9/1/2024).
Regarding the extension of the operations of the Cartenz Peace Task Force, one of the Gorontalo Police Public Relations Division personnel, namely Bripka Sugarman, who is also a former member of the Gegana Unit of the Gorontalo Police Mobile Brigade, was also involved in the Public Relations Task Force.
According to Bripka Sugarman, this is a matter of pride for him to be involved in the operations of the Cartenz 2024 Peace Task Force.
“Personally, I feel proud to be involved in this operation, where I hope he can contribute to realizing conducive social security and order in the Papua region,” he concluded.
