Oksibil. The process of evacuating five bodies of KKB Pegunungan Bintang Leaders Ananias Ati Mimin who died during an ambush of joint TNI Polri Task Force Peace Cartenz Operation on Saturday (29/09/2023) last morning, has been completed.
This body evacuation activity began on Monday (02/10/2023) at 20.00 WIT until Tuesday (03/10/2023) early morning.
The activity was led directly by the Bintang Mountains Police Chief Akbp Dafi Bastomi SIK, MIK and Dandim 1715 Yahukimo Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Tommy Yudistyo S.Sos, M.Han. This evacuation activity mobilized approximately 100 Joint TNI Police personnel who were members of the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force and the Bintang Mountains Police.
Head of Ops Damai Cartenz 2023, Kombes Pol Dr. Faizal Ramadhani S.Sos, S.I.K, M.H stated that all bodies had been evacuated and the process was running safely and smoothly.
“All (KKB bodies) have been evacuated, led directly by the Kapolres and Dandim. the process is running safely and smoothly”.
Separately, the Head of the Cartenz Peace Public Relations Task Force Akbp Dr. Bayu Suseno SH.S.IK, MH, said that the five bodies were evacuated from the scene of the Serambakon District of Mount Bintang directly to Pegubin Hospital for further identification. After completion, the bodies will be handed over to the Regional Government of Pegunungan Bintang Regency for burial.
“Earlier this morning, everything was evacuated from the crime scene to the RSUD Hospital and then we carried out a series of further identification actions. We plan to hand over to the local government for burial,” explained Bayu.
