Jayapura – Joint TNI-Polri officers have increased their alert level to anticipate other forms of attacks carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) after the ambush at the KKB Kodap III Ndugama headquarters which killed 3 KKB members in Aluguru Village, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains on Friday, September 1 2023 .
“The most important thing is our preparedness. “We also don’t want victims from the community, never mind the community, we don’t want victims from them because we are both human,” said Papua Police Deputy Chief Brigadier General Ramdani Hidayat, as reported by Antaranews, Tuesday (5/9/2023).
Previously, elite TNI AD troops raided the headquarters of the terrorist Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Matoa area, Alguru Village, Krepkuri District, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains.
The joint team succeeded in confiscating 5 homemade firearms and a number of ammunition and documents from one of the terrorist KKB members.
In the shootout, Pangdam XVII Cenderawasih said TNI AD troops killed three KKB members, namely Army Tabuni as Danyon Aluguru, Ganti Gwijangge, and another person who has not been identified. They are Egianus Kogoya’s men.
“It is impossible for the KKB’s actions to be tolerated so the TNI/Polri will take firm action against members of this group,” stressed Izak Pangemanan.
