Pegunungan Bintang, Highland Papua
— Personnel of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force, in collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), carried out another logistics delivery mission for troops stationed at Kiwirok Post, Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Wednesday (October 22, 2025).

The logistics delivery, consisting of food supplies, was conducted by air using three Bell-type helicopters through an airdrop method, beginning at 04:00 Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT) until completion.

The operation involved two TNI helicopters and one from the Indonesian National Police (Polri), deploying a total of six parachutes loaded with supplies. Two parachutes were dropped by the TNI helicopters at 11:10 WIT, followed by two more released by the Polri helicopter. All supplies landed safely in the Kiwirok area and were immediately secured by personnel from the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force and Yonif 753 Task Force.

In addition to the routine supplies, TNI–Polri personnel in Kiwirok also delivered 150 kilograms of rice donated by the Regent of Pegunungan Bintang, which was also airdropped into the area. Upon completion of the delivery, the three helicopters returned to Senggi – Sentani, Jayapura.

The Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the coordination and teamwork between TNI and Polri in ensuring the safe and timely distribution of logistics to personnel in the highland areas.

“Airdrop delivery is a strategic effort to ensure that our personnel in Papua receive their essential needs. We are grateful that today’s operation went smoothly and safely, with all supplies successfully received,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of collaboration and preparedness in every logistics distribution mission, especially in the challenging terrain of Papua’s highlands.

“We continue to ensure that logistical support for field personnel runs smoothly. This airdrop activity also reflects the strong synergy between TNI and Polri in maintaining stability and supporting humanitarian efforts in Papua,” explained Commissioner Adarma.

Drone surveillance confirmed that the entire airdrop operation proceeded safely and under full control. Overall, the logistics delivery mission was conducted securely, orderly, and successfully.
