Oksibil – The Head of Public Relations Task Force Ops Damai Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., conducted a working visit to two Brimob posts in Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua Pegunungan, on Tuesday (11/2). He visited the Kotaraja Brimob Post in Serambakon District and the RRI Brimob Operations Damai Cartenz Post in Oksibil. The visit aimed to provide motivation, evaluate field conditions, and strengthen the synergy between security personnel and the local community.

During his visit to the Kotaraja Brimob Post, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo was accompanied by the Chief of Pegunungan Bintang Police, AKBP Anto Seven, S.I.K., M.H. He appreciated the dedication of personnel serving in areas with challenging geographical conditions.

“We highly appreciate the dedication of colleagues here who remain enthusiastic about carrying out their duties despite facing difficult terrain. The security and order in Pegunungan Bintang depend greatly on your hard work,” said Yusuf Sutejo in his address.

He also emphasized the importance of building harmonious relationships with the community. “Our success in maintaining security cannot be separated from the participation of the residents. Establish good communication with them, as this synergy will strengthen stability in the area,” he added.

Subsequently, the Head of Public Relations Task Force and the Police Chief continued their visit to the RRI Brimob Ops Damai Cartenz Post in Oksibil. There, they reviewed the post’s facilities and listened to the personnel’s aspirations.

In his speech, Police Commissioner Yusuf reiterated that the personnel’s duty is not just a job but also a service to the country. “You are the front line in maintaining security in this area. The challenges in the field are significant, but we must remain solid and adapt to existing conditions,” he emphasized.

He also encouraged personnel to utilize technology in carrying out their duties. “The dynamic field conditions require us to be creative and flexible. Use available resources to the maximum and do not hesitate to report obstacles to leadership,” he said.

Concluding the visit, the Head of Public Relations Task Force advised the personnel to maintain their health and fitness. “Prime physical and mental conditions are the main assets in carrying out duties. Take care of your body and stay motivated for the security of our area,” he concluded.

It is hoped that this visit will provide a boost of spirit to the personnel and strengthen the synergy between the security apparatus and the community, ensuring the conducive situation in Pegunungan Bintang remains intact.
