Jayapura- Secretary I of the Mandala Trikora Youth, Papua Province, Absalom Yerisitouw, deeply regrets the criminal acts carried out by the Papuan armed criminal group (KKB) which are very detrimental to the Papuan people themselves and the Indonesian people in the land of Papua.

According to Absalom Yerisitouw, the role of community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders and traditional leaders as well as women leaders is highly expected to provide full support to the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force – 2023 and 2024 in providing law enforcement efforts against armed criminal groups (KKB) in Papua. .
“We the Papuan people really appreciate the Cartenz-2023 Peace Ops Task Force which has taken legal action against the Papuan KKB which has been disturbing the people in Papua,” he said.
He continued, our hope is that criminals in Papua, in this case the KKB group, who have not yet been arrested, will receive legal certainty so that in 2024 they can be arrested in order to obtain legal certainty based on the actions they committed against the people in Papua.
