Lanny Jaya, Central Papua – A joint patrol conducted by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 and the Law Enforcement Task Force (Satgas Gakkum) in the districts of Tiom, Pirime, and Indawa, Lanny Jaya Regency, on Sunday (July 12), was warmly welcomed by local residents. Beyond maintaining public security, the patrol provided an opportunity for community members to engage directly with officers, share their concerns, and express their aspirations regarding the local security situation.

Beginning in the morning, personnel patrolled several locations that serve as centers of community activity. Throughout the patrol, officers interacted with residents, engaged in friendly conversations, and listened to feedback regarding security conditions in their neighborhoods. The approachable and community-oriented atmosphere encouraged residents to communicate openly with the officers.

One resident in Tiom District, identified only by the initial “M,” expressed appreciation for the patrol and community outreach activities carried out by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026.

“We sincerely thank the police officers for visiting our village. Their presence makes us feel safer as we go about our daily activities. We are also grateful that they are willing to greet us and listen to the community. We hope activities like this will continue,” the resident said.

For local residents, the presence of security personnel in their daily environment not only enhances their sense of safety but also strengthens communication between the community and law enforcement. Through a human-centered approach, residents feel more comfortable sharing information and conveying concerns related to public security.

The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that every patrol should serve as a means of building closer relationships with the community, rather than focusing solely on security operations.

“The presence of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 personnel must provide tangible benefits to the community. Through patrols and human-centered communication, we aim to create a greater sense of security while strengthening public confidence that the Indonesian National Police are always present to protect, serve, and support the community,” he said.

Echoing this commitment, Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that the success of the operation should not be measured solely by law enforcement outcomes but also by the quality of relationships established with local communities.

“A human-centered approach is essential to maintaining long-term security and stability. When officers are present, engage in dialogue, and listen directly to the needs of the people, public trust grows, and a safe and conducive security environment can be sustainably maintained,” he said.

The joint patrol and community outreach activities concluded safely and orderly. The initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 to fostering public security through professional, community-oriented, and sustainable engagement, ensuring that local residents directly experience the benefits of the police’s presence.
