Puncak Jaya, Central Papua – Personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 carried out a joint patrol and community outreach activity targeting traders and motorcycle taxi drivers at the Central Market area of Mulia City, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Friday (May 22, 2026).
The patrol was conducted around Mulia City as a preventive measure to maintain public security and order in a safe and conducive condition.
During the patrol, personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz engaged in direct dialogue with the community, particularly traders and motorcycle taxi drivers who were conducting their daily activities at the central market. Personnel also delivered public security and order messages and encouraged residents to work together in maintaining environmental security.
The presence of security personnel among the community was positively welcomed by residents, who considered it helpful in providing a sense of safety and comfort while carrying out daily activities.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that dialogical patrols and humanist community outreach activities will continue to be conducted routinely in various areas to strengthen relations between security personnel and the community.
According to the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, the humanist approach has become one of the important strategies in maintaining security stability in Papua, particularly in Puncak Jaya Regency.
“We want to ensure that the community can carry out their activities safely and comfortably. The presence of personnel in the field is also a form of public service to the community,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that the joint patrols are not only focused on regional security but also on building good communication with the community.
He explained that through direct dialogue, security personnel can listen to the aspirations of the community while also encouraging residents to jointly maintain a conducive public security and order situation.
The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz reaffirmed its commitment to continuously being present among the community in order to maintain security and create a peaceful and conducive situation in Central Papua.
