PEGUNUNGAN BINTANG – Personnel of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2026 conducted a dialogical patrol and health awareness outreach in Yunabol Village, Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Wednesday (February 4, 2026). The activity was led by Second Police Inspector (Ipda) Ranto Achmad Chamdani, SKM.
During the activity, the personnel visited residents’ homes and held direct communication with community members. In addition to delivering public security messages, the team also provided simple education on the importance of maintaining personal and family health, particularly in mountainous areas where access to healthcare services remains limited.
The outreach was carried out as part of a dialogical approach aimed at strengthening communication between officers and the community, while also improving residents’ understanding of healthy living practices. Several residential areas in Yunabol Village were included in the patrol route.
The Head of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2026, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, stated that the activity was part of broader efforts to build closer relations with local communities.
“We want the community to feel that the presence of officers is not only about security, but also about care.
Through this dialogical patrol and health outreach, we are building closeness while also helping residents maintain their quality of life. Papua is our shared home, let us care for it and protect it together,” said Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2026, Police Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, emphasized that direct communication plays an important role in maintaining a conducive environment.
“When our personnel sit down, talk, and listen directly to residents’ concerns, that is where trust grows. From that trust, security stability will be maintained naturally. The spirit is simple: we look after each other,” said Police Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.
Local residents welcomed the activity and participated in the outreach delivered by the personnel. Throughout the activity, the situation was monitored and remained safe and conducive.
The Peaceful Cartenz Operation 2026 stated that it will continue to conduct dialogical patrols in various areas as part of efforts to maintain security stability and strengthen communication with the community.
