Jayapura – A humane approach was once again demonstrated by personnel of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026 through a learning and play activity with children at the Koya Tengah Community Reading Park, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, on Tuesday afternoon (February 3, 2026).
The activity, held in the yard of GKI Gloria Church in Koya Tengah Village, was led by Ipda Andi Mappanyompa along with a team from the Public Relations Task Force of Ops Damai Cartenz 2026. The program is part of the Indonesian National Police’s efforts to build closeness, trust, and harmonious relationships with the community, especially children as the nation’s future generation.

In a cheerful atmosphere, Ops Damai Cartenz 2026 personnel encouraged the children to practice reading, basic math, and take part in educational games. The children were also given motivation to stay enthusiastic about learning, build self-confidence, and pursue high aspirations for their future.
The activity received a positive response from local residents. One Koya Tengah resident, Maria Yoku, expressed her appreciation for the presence of Ops Damai Cartenz personnel.
“We are very happy and grateful to the police officers. The children have become braver, more eager to learn, and feel closer to the police. Activities like this are very helpful for our village,” she said.
