SINAK — Amid limited access to health services in the Sinak Post area, the presence of Brimob personnel of the Indonesian National Police on January 11, 2026, became a source of hope for the local community. Beyond carrying out security duties, Brimob personnel demonstrated genuine dedication by providing direct medical assistance to residents, including the distribution of pain relievers, vitamins, and antibiotics in accordance with medical needs.
With a humane and empathetic approach, Brimob personnel served the community comprehensively, particularly children and the elderly who are more vulnerable to health issues. Every interaction was carried out in a friendly and professional manner, reflecting Brimob Polri’s strong commitment to upholding humanitarian values in its areas of assignment.
This activity not only served as a form of health care assistance but also functioned as a social bridge that strengthened relations between security forces and the community. The presence of Brimob among residents fostered a holistic sense of security—not only through maintaining regional stability, but also through genuine attention to the basic needs of the community, especially in the field of health.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humanitarian approach is key to achieving sustainable peace in Papua. According to him, the presence of security forces should be felt as that of a friend and protector of the people.
“Peace is not built solely through security measures, but also through care and services that directly address the needs of the community. When the state is present with heart and compassion, trust and peace will naturally grow,” he said.
One resident, identified by the initial A, expressed appreciation for the care shown by Brimob personnel, saying that the community felt cared for and not alone.
“We feel truly cared for. Brimob came not only to maintain security, but also to look after our health. This means a lot to us, especially for the elderly and children in our village,” the resident said emotionally.
Through this activity, Brimob Polri once again reaffirmed its role as a protector, guardian, and servant of the community. At Sinak Post, this dedication was manifested in a simple yet meaningful way, forming part of ongoing efforts to build lasting peace rooted in trust and compassion.
