Yogyakarta, January 4, 2026 – The commitment of the Intan Jaya Regency Government to advancing education in Papua has once again received appreciation. The Moni Students and Youth Association (IPMMO) of Java and Bali expressed its deepest gratitude and highest appreciation to the Regent of Intan Jaya Regency, Aner Maiseni, S.Kom., SH., MH., for his support and attention, which contributed to the successful, safe, and smooth implementation of the 2026 IPMMO Java–Bali General Assembly (MUBES).
The IPMMO Java–Bali General Assembly was held from Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 07:00 WIB until Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 04:30 WIB, at the Papuan Students’ Dormitory Kamasan I, Yogyakarta. The General Assembly is the highest forum within the organization and plays a strategic role in strengthening guidance, consolidation, and unity among Moni students from Intan Jaya Regency who are pursuing their education across Java and Bali.
The successful organization of the General Assembly was inseparable from the tangible support provided by the Intan Jaya Regency Government under the leadership of Regent Aner Maiseni. The assistance given reflects the local government’s strong concern for human resource development, particularly for the young generation of Intan Jaya who are studying outside the region as part of a long-term development process.
IPMMO Java–Bali emphasized that the support was not merely material in nature, but also served as a source of moral encouragement and motivation for Moni students to continue growing, actively participating in organizational activities, and preparing themselves as future regional leaders with integrity and competitiveness.
“Students are the future assets of the region. Therefore, the attention given by the Regent of Intan Jaya Regency to IPMMO Java–Bali is a visionary step in building a strong foundation of superior human resources who care about regional development,” IPMMO stated.
Through this General Assembly, IPMMO Java–Bali is committed to steering the organization toward a more progressive and forward-looking direction. The organization also highlighted that synergy between students and the regional government is essential and must be continuously maintained to accelerate educational development and improve the quality of Papua’s younger generation.
The support from the Regent of Intan Jaya Regency is seen as a positive example of a government that is present and responsive to the dynamics and needs of students living outside their home region. Such concern is considered valuable social capital in fostering unity, togetherness, and collective responsibility to advance Intan Jaya Regency through education.
