Puncak Jaya – The Damai Cartenz Operation Public Relations Task Force continues its efforts to strengthen ties with local communities. On Wednesday (July 2, 2025) at around 11:00 AM local time, task force personnel carried out humanitarian activities with residents and children at the Task Force Post in Kulirik District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua.

The event was led by Briptu Eroza Feryan Perdana, S.H., and Bripda Rafli Abdullah, S.H. A cheerful atmosphere filled the gathering as children enthusiastically took part in various activities. Through warm interactions, the PR Task Force shared positive messages, offered encouragement, and fostered closer emotional bonds with the community.

Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation, Brig. Gen. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operation, Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the initiative. He emphasized that such humanitarian activities are crucial for building public trust in the police, particularly in Papua’s highland regions.

“Activities like this are vital for cultivating trust and connection with the community, especially among Papua’s younger generation. Small gestures like these can be the seeds from which greater peace grows. This is the face of the police—protective, present, and bringing hope,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.

Chief of the Damai Cartenz Operation PR Task Force, Senior Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also urged that the good relationship that has been established should continue to be nurtured.

“We invite all elements of society to work together to create a safe and peaceful environment, especially for the children who are Papua’s future generation. The police are not only here to maintain security but also to embrace the community and help build a better future together,” said Senior Commissioner Yusuf.

The Damai Cartenz Task Force reiterated its commitment to continuing its human-centered approach throughout its operational areas, with the hope of creating a safe and harmonious environment that supports the vision of a peaceful and prosperous Papua.
