Nduga, Kenyam, Papua Highlands – A warm and joyful atmosphere filled the air in Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, Papua Highlands, on Wednesday (May 14, 2025). Schoolchildren in the area enthusiastically welcomed members of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force.
The presence of these security personnel carried a mission beyond mere law enforcement. They came to deliver messages of peace and instill hope in the younger generation living in a region often associated with conflict.

Head of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force, Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that the task force is committed not only to addressing armed criminal groups (ACGs) and political criminal groups (PCGs) but also to ensuring the safety and security of the public so that educational, governmental, and community activities can proceed smoothly.
“We are here to ensure that the people of Papua feel safe and secure, free from threats posed by ACGs and PCGs. With stability, all community activities can run as they should,” Brigadier General Faizal stated in a written statement.
The activity took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in Kenyam District, a region in Nduga Regency that has often been impacted by conflict.
According to the Head of Public Relations for the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force, Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., such humanist approaches are crucial in fostering harmony among the community, especially children, to create lasting peace.
“We invite all Papuans to work together in maintaining security and order in the region,” Commissioner Yusuf urged.
Through friendly and approachable interactions, the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force engaged directly with the schoolchildren, creating an atmosphere of warmth and optimism.
