Puncak Jaya — Personnel from the Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Task Force carried out a humanitarian initiative by distributing essential food supplies to Papuan mothers and snacks for children in Wuyuneri Village, Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Sunday (11/5).
The activity was warmly welcomed by the local community, who enthusiastically received the aid. Task force members were seen engaging with residents, handing out food packages containing rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, and other staple goods. Children were also given special attention, happily accepting the snacks distributed to them.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police* Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by the Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025*, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that this initiative reflects the task force’s commitment to a humanitarian approach in Papua.
“We aim to demonstrate that our presence is not only about maintaining security but also about bringing peace and prosperity to the community. Activities like this will continue as part of Operation Peace Cartenz’s commitment,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
A humanitarian approach is key to building trust with the community. “We hope that through such efforts, harmonious relations between security forces and residents will grow stronger,” he added.
Echoing this sentiment, the Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police* Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., expressed gratitude for the positive response from the community.
“We sincerely appreciate the warm welcome from the people of Wuyuneri Village. This motivates us to continue serving and giving our best for the people of Papua,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
The event concluded with a group photo and a joint prayer, symbolizing unity and hope for lasting peace in Papua.
