Biak – The Red and White Front of the Republic of Indonesia (BMP-RI) of Biak Numfor Regency expressed its commitment to be at the forefront in supporting the national priority program Asta Cita in Papua, particularly in the Biak Numfor region.
The Chairman of the DPC BMP-RI Biak Numfor, Frids Semuel Arfayan, on Monday (5/5/2025) emphasized that his organization would fully support all central government programs, including the provision of free nutritious meals (MBG) which has received rejection from some parts of society.
“We will help socialize the positive impact of the MBG program and be a strategic partner of the government in building Papua, especially in Biak Numfor,” said Semuel.
He added that BMP-RI is ready to be a communication bridge between the Papuan people and the central government to achieve social justice and collective welfare.
According to him, the Red and White Front was born from the spirit of national struggle and has a responsibility to maintain the integrity of the NKRI, while respecting the cultural diversity and natural potential of Papua.
“We invite the people of Biak Numfor to think openly, voice ideas wisely, and unite for a better future,” he said.
Semuel also emphasized that the cultural richness and natural beauty of Biak Numfor are a source of pride not only for the Papuan people but also for the Indonesian nation as a whole.
“United for integrity, NKRI is non-negotiable. We are Papuan, We are Biak, We are NKRI,” he concluded.
