Deputy Regent of Jayapura Haris Richard S. Yocku participated in the first apple with the ranks of the Jayapura Regency Government at the Gunung Merah Sentani Ceremony Square, Monday (4/14/2025). The Apple was led directly by the Regent of Jayapura, Yunus Wonda, and attended by all regional agencies, echelon officials, and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
This apple became the first moment when Vice Wabup Haris was officially present since he was inaugurated some time ago. On that occasion, he expressed his support for the direction of Regent Yunus Wonda which emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean work environment and improving employee discipline.
“As the Deputy Regent, I really fully support what has been conveyed by the Regent. Regarding office cleanliness, both in the room and in the yard, there are still many that have not been neatly arranged. This must be our common concern,” said Haris Yocku after the apple.
According to him, the condition of a number of government offices in the Jayapura Regency Government environment still looks poorly managed. Not only from the aesthetic side, office cleanliness also reflects the work ethic and employee commitment to excellent public service.
He also appealed to all heads of the Regional Device Organization (OPD) and ASN to pay more attention to the cleanliness and beauty of their respective offices.
“Cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the cleaning staff, but the responsibility of all employees. Let’s create a clean, orderly, and comfortable work environment for the sake of better service to the community,” he said.
This first Apple is also an initial consolidation event for the new pair of regional heads, in uniting the vision and mission to build a more orderly, clean, and disciplined Jayapura Regency in public service.
In the future, the Jayapura Regency Government will strengthen internal supervision and put forward a productive, neat, and disciplined work culture as part of the results-oriented bureaucratic reform.
