Yalimo – In an effort to ensure public security and order (Kamtibmas) in Yalimo Regency remains conducive, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 conducted a patrol visit to the Elelim traditional market on Saturday, March 29, 2025. This activity aimed to ensure that community activities run smoothly and safely.
The Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that the patrol was warmly welcomed by the local community in Elelim Market. This positive reception indicates that Yalimo is now in a safe and peaceful condition.
“We assure the public that Yalimo is now safe and peaceful. The smooth and orderly activities of the community serve as tangible evidence of this conducive situation,” said Chief Commissioner Adarma.
On this occasion, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 also showed its support for the local economy by shopping at the traditional market. This initiative demonstrates a concrete commitment to supporting local traders and ensuring the continued movement of the community’s economic activities.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., called on all elements of society in Yalimo Regency, including religious leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, women leaders, church leaders, and tribal chiefs, to continue collaborating with the government and security forces to maintain the region’s stability.
“Let us work together to keep Yalimo Regency safe and conducive,” concluded Chief Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
This patrol visit is part of the ongoing efforts of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 to create and maintain peace in the Papua region, particularly in Yalimo Regency.
