Kiwirok: Sunday Service Secured by Peace Ops Task Force

The Peace Operations Task Force (Satgas Ops Damai Cartenz-2025) successfully ensured the safety of Christians attending their Sunday service in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua. This initiative is part of the Task Force’s ongoing efforts to provide security and peace of mind for the local community amidst ongoing security concerns.

Deputy Head of Operations Damai Cartenz-2025, Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of the Task Force’s presence in creating a safe and conducive environment for worshippers. The presence of personnel at the worship site aimed to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community conducting religious activities.

“Our mission is to ensure that the community can worship peacefully without any fear. We are committed to maintaining security stability so that religious activities can continue without disruption,” said Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.

Throughout the service, the situation remained calm and secure, with Task Force personnel staying alert to anticipate any potential security threats. The officers remained vigilant and responsive in carrying out their duties, allowing the congregation to worship with devotion and without worry.
