Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Strengthens Communication and Security in Timika through Community Engagement

Timika, Indonesia – In an effort to enhance communication and maintain security in Central Papua, the Deputy Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K, held a meeting with a prominent community leader from Mimika Regency, Dr. Jeffrey C. Hutagalung, MPhil. The meeting took place at Dr. Jeffrey’s residence on Monday (10/3).

During the warm and constructive discussion, Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri emphasized the importance of collaboration between law enforcement agencies and community leaders in ensuring regional stability.

“We aim to establish good communication with community leaders so that we can work together to create a safe and stable environment in Central Papua,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K, M.T, highlighted the necessity of synergy between law enforcement and the public to counter various divisive issues.

“Through a persuasive approach and open communication, we hope to build trust and provide the community with a better understanding of security efforts,” he explained.

Dr. Jeffrey C. Hutagalung welcomed the visit and expressed his appreciation for the police’s initiative in fostering closer relations with the local community. He emphasized the importance of dialogue as a bridge to achieving long-term stability and security in Central Papua.

This engagement is part of a series of initiatives under Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, which not only focuses on law enforcement but also promotes humanitarian activities. The program aims to strengthen cooperation between law enforcement officers and the community to maintain peace and prevent potential security threats in Timika and its surrounding areas.
