Deceased in Duty, The Body of Bripka Posthumous Ronald M. Enok was flown to Jayapura and buried in Sentani

Puncak Jaya, Mulia January 22, 2025- The Body of Bripka (Posthumous) Ronald M. Enok, a member of the Puncak Jaya Police who died on duty, was flown from Puncak Jaya Regency to Sentani Airport, Jayapura Regency, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The last tribute procession was held at the Mako of Puncak Jaya Police Station.

Posthumous Bripka Ronald M. Enok died on duty on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in Lima-Lima Village, Pagaleme District, Puncak Jaya Regency. The incident occurred due to the attack of the KKB Group led by Bumiwalo Telenggen.

The Head of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Task Force Operation, Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani, revealed that the funeral procession began at 07.00 WIT at Mako Polres Puncak Jaya. Next, the body was taken from Mulia Airport to Sentani Airport and then taken to the funeral home at Jalan Pandang Pasir Complex, Sentani, Jayapura Regency.

Puncak Jaya Police Chief, AKBP Kuswara, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., directly presided over the release ceremony with full of respect. Before departure, the release service was held at the Socialization Hall of the Puncak Jaya Police.

On that occasion, the Head of Public Relations of the Cartenz-2025 Peace Operation, Kombes Pol Yusuf Sutejo, appealed to the public to remain calm and support the efforts of the apparatus in maintaining security stability in the Puncak Jaya region.

“We invite all people to maintain the situation so that it remains conducive,” said Kombes Pol Yusuf.

Last tribute for Posthumous Bripka Ronald M. Enok became a form of appreciation for the dedication and sacrifice of the deceased in carrying out his duties for security and peace in Papua.
