Papua- KKB is again disturbing the community with acts of torture. This time, it was the turn of the KKB Undius Kogoya Group operating at the Regional Defense Command (KODAP) VIII Kemabu Intan Jaya to carry out acts of violence. The Undius Kogoya group has admitted its action in arresting one of the Paniai residents on Monday, May 6 2024.
Knowledge in the video circulating shows the cruelty of the Armed Criminal Group towards civilians. The resident is believed to be Elgo Gobai, who daily acts as Head of Odiyai Village, East Paniai District.
KKB in a Social Media post (Medsos), stated that the lodge arrested Elgo Gobai because Elgo was considered a sympathizer of the Security Forces (Apkam).
With this, the Undius Kogoya Group has arrested and tortured Elgo in order to obtain his confession of supporting the Security Forces. This act of violence is one of the many KKB atrocities in disrupting the security of the Papua region.
This causes Papua to become increasingly sick and fail to prosper because of the KKB’s usual actions, which cause pain and do not support humanitarian elements, especially for civil society.
The KKB’s treatment was very serious, because the KKB used violence and intimidation to achieve its intention to separate itself from the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
