Jayapura- In order to succeed the 2024 General Election, the people of Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency carried out a Declaration of Peaceful Election ahead of the 2024 simultaneous elections, Monday (12/2/2024).
The activity was attended by Danpos Kiwirok Ops Damai Cartenz-2024, Ipda Nikodemus Wospakrik, Kiwirok Police Chief Ipda Samsul, Head of Kiwirok Badahara Nimrod S.H, Kiwirok Airport Corlap Doni, Kiwirok District Chief Abedius Tepmul, Kiwirok District Panwas Chairman Dikriphol Taplo and PPD Chairman Bomkon Taplo.
Head of Cartenz Peaceful Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H when confirmed said that the Peaceful Election Declaration activity carried out is to jointly maintain the activities of the Democratic Party so that it can run safely and orderly in the Kiwirok district, Pegunungan Bintang Regency.
In addition, Ka Ops Damai Cartenz Kombes Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H explained that the implementation of the Peaceful Election Declaration carried out in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang was conceived to invite all elements of society together with the security forces to maintain a safe and peaceful Kamtibmas situation.
Ka Ops Damai Cartenz also added that, the implementation of the Election which will take place on February 14, 2024, will be closely guarded by the joint TNI-Polri security forces Ops Damai Cartenz-2024 and Papua Police.
“We will guard the implementation of the 2024 elections as much as possible in order to prevent security disturbances that can disrupt the orderly implementation of voting later.” said Ka Ops Damai Cartenz-2024.
Kiwirok District Chief Abedius Tepmul, after the Declaration of Peaceful Election said that, in the implementation of voting, what we hope is that it can run safely and successfully.
Abedius Tepmul also asked the Kiwirok district community to jointly assist the security forces in this case the TNI-Polri Ops Peace Cartenz-2024 to maintain security and order on the day of voting so that the implementation of this democratic party can run safely and peacefully.
