Timika – After experiencing terror perpetrated by the armed criminal group (KKB) led by Yotam Bugiangge, the people of Kenyam Village, Nogolait Complex, were finally able to return to their hometowns. They previously fled to a safer place for fear of becoming victims of violence. Saturday (03/04/2023).
The Cartenz Damai Task Force team succeeded in arresting 5 KKB members Yotam Bugiangge at the end of May 2023 after shooting at several locations in Nduga. It is hoped that this arrest will restore a sense of security and comfort for the Nogolait people who want to live a normal life without interference from the KKB.
The Regent of Nduga, Namia Gwijangge, S.Pd, M.Sc, thanked the Head of the Nduga Police and the ranks and all security forces of the TNI-Polri who had helped the Nogolait people who were displaced due to gunfire with the armed criminal group (KKB) Yotam Bugiangge.
“Thank you to the Head of the Nduga Police and the Staff and all the TNI-Polri Security Apparatus so that the security situation has started to return to normal and helped the community from the evacuation process from Nogolait during the Shooting Contact and today will be sent back to their respective homes” said the Regent of Nduga
Previously, 162 residents of the Nogolait village were evacuated to secure themselves to Kenyam City, Kab. Nsuspected as a result of terror carried out by the KKB
