Paniai, Central Papua — The Damai Cartenz Task Force personnel in Paniai once again spread joy and warmth among the local community through a social outreach activity held along Jalan Modern, Enarotali, Paniai Regency, on Thursday afternoon (October 9, 2025).
Starting at 3:00 p.m. local time, the event formed part of the task force’s humanitarian program aimed at strengthening relations between law enforcement officers and residents across Central Papua. During the activity, task force members distributed food packages and snacks to residents and children along Jalan Modern up to the Tindak Paniai Post area.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter and cheer as children happily received their gifts, while residents warmly greeted the officers with smiles and friendly conversations. The presence of the police among the community helped foster a sense of closeness and reinforced public trust in Polri’s commitment to serve the people.
Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation, Police Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the social initiative reflects the human-centered approach of the Indonesian National Police in carrying out its mission in Papua.
“We want to show that Operation Damai Cartenz is not only about law enforcement, but also about building brotherhood and unity among the people of Papua,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Damai Cartenz Operation, Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that the outreach exemplifies positive synergy between security forces and the local community.
“We remain committed to conducting humanitarian activities across various regions of Papua. Through this humanist approach, we hope the presence of the police will not only bring a sense of safety but also spread happiness among the people,” he said.
The entire event ran smoothly and peacefully, reflecting the compassionate spirit of the Damai Cartenz Task Force in fostering peace and strengthening social harmony between the police and the community in Paniai Regency.
