Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz Commemorates Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday with a Solemn Religious Gathering in Paniai
Paniai, Central Papua – The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz held a solemn religious gathering (pengajian) in commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW) together with the Muslim community of Paniai Regency, Central Papua, on the evening of September 4, 2025. The event took place at Mushola Al-Mutadin and ran peacefully from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM local time (WIT).
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that this year’s commemoration carried the theme “Upholding the Spirit of Unity by Emulating the Noble Character of the Prophet Muhammad.” According to him, this occasion serves as a vital opportunity to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and deepen the community’s faith.
“The commemoration of Maulid Nabi is not merely a tradition but a reminder for all of us to continually emulate the character of the Prophet in our daily lives,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.
Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that the joint religious gathering symbolizes the tangible synergy between law enforcement—represented by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz—and the local community.
“Through religious activities like this, we aim to strengthen social bonds and collectively maintain a safe, peaceful, and harmonious public order in Paniai Regency,” he concluded.
The Maulid Nabi commemoration at Mushola Al-Mutadin proceeded smoothly, respectfully, and meaningfully. It was hoped that such initiatives would continue to foster a spirit of unity and reinforce the bond between the people and the security forces in Central Papua.
